Superabundant is a collage exploration of food culture shown through advertising images from the early 1950s. Now altered, through the deconstruction process, these innocent images are transformed from their idyllic meaning into a visual ambiguity. This narrative looks beyond food as a necessity of life and explores how society and culture has altered our collective identities through the semiotic language of food marketing.
